In 1996, Our Own Little World Daycare & Learning Center opened their doors as a “Home away from Home” for our children. Thirteen years later they are still giving out lots of Love, Hugs, & Kisses as the experienced staff, friendly teachers, fun activities, and more importantly the Christian atmosphere enable the children to prosper and grow.
This daycare is very unique compared to other daycares. When you walk through the door it is as if you have made a trip to Grandma’s house for a visit. The structured environment speaks volumes as you watch the children pray before their meals and snacks, participate in music and Bible story time every day, and thrive through the Frog Street Press Learning Program as each child prepares for “Big School.” Even during nap time they are comforted by soothing music as they fall asleep.
Our Own Little World Daycare and Learning Center is a hidden treasure in the city of Alma. Nestled down off the road of 233 Collum Lane East you will find large shade trees , smiling & greeting voices as you enter the door, a caring & home-like environment and each classroom is themed to peak the child’s interest.
This personal, privately-owned “Christian” daycare is definitely worth a phone call or a simple visit if you are searching for quality childcare. As parents we all know and realize that our most valuable treasure is our children and this non-government funded Center offers a feeling of comfort and structure mixed with fun and laughter.
Our Own Little World Daycare cares for children from 18 months to twelve years. They open their doors at 5:30am and remain open until 6:15pm, Monday through Friday.
